Jane graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor of Oral Health and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry, with Academic Excellence and as a member of the Griffith University Honours College. She spent time working in Sydney, before returning 6 years ago to her home of Brisbane. She is passionate about learning, and regularly attends continuing professional development courses, to stay up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry. Jane is a member of the Australian Dental Association, the Dental Ed study group and the Vardiman study group. Jane has had the pleasure of completing dental volunteer work in Cambodia, with M’Lop Tapang, which is a child protection organisation.

Jane finds dentistry a wonderful career. She finds it a pleasure to care for our amazing patients every day and that dentistry is the perfect combination of science and art. Jane works with many patient’s who may not have visited the dentist for a long period of time. She helps these patients to feel comfortable and enthusiastic about their dental health, by working through any barriers they may have had to attending the dentist. She enjoys these full mouth rehabilitation treatments. She is certified to provide treatment under ‘happy gas’ nitrous sedation. Jane believes in a conservative approach to dentistry and preserving the natural dentition for the long term. She finds it is so rewarding to help patient’s overcome dental anxiety, and transition to finding the dental visits relaxed and enjoyable – and even looking forward to it!

She also loves looking after patients and families for their regular dental checkups and enjoys the variety of dental procedures.

Jane loves being able to work with her hands and from a young age enjoyed making jewellery.
In her spare time Jane enjoys spending time with her family and friends. You may find her on the ski slopes (skiing very cautiously)! Or enjoying a relaxed beach walk.
